This event is a wide path nicely centered on Santa Cruz. The northern limit crosses Dorrington, and we'll be barely inside the northern limit at our campsite at WakaLu Hep Yo. The max duration is 5.8s, but for us at the Stanislaus River it'll be much shorter. The dark clean skies (we hope) may make it easier to use a short integration and get a good decision on whether we are at a hit or miss. Karl can get this from home and help define the path.

This asteroid is a known binary. I don't know where the moon path is as I write this on Oct 1.

Alt=16, Az=219 from Santa Cruz. In the SW in Ophiuchus. That might still be above the ridge across from the river.
