This is a faint event, with V=13.5 but W=12.9, and it lasts a full 1.6 seconds. Kirk and I are well placed at home for it. Karl would have to drive down to Blue Balls Park to get inside the shadow. RUWE=0.75 which is good. The rank looks good so odds of a positve are high
Alt=25, Az=171 in Sagittarius, 4 deg above the tip of the spout

Kirk got a recording from home at 32x. I got one at 16x from Rincon St. Neither of us know if we had the target visible but I'm dead sure I was on target. Seeing was terrible for me. Was I looking over a neighbor's chimney which was actually in use? Why, in July would they fire up their chimney? Or maybe the roof itself was just hot? Don't know....
I got a 1 sec event for Hanakusa, 32x at home July 31. I ID'd the field but it was crowded and I wasn't sure I picked out the target but I did, event is obvious, about 1 sec after predicted time of 5:00:32. In PyMovie I used a small size 11 aperture because the field was crowded and got the best results with a size 2.4 mask.
